The ACT & Districts Stoma Association Inc. provides support and assistance to people in Canberra and the adjoining region who have had stomal surgery.
We provide stoma-related supplies to more than 800 members. We are committed to our members’ wellbeing and to helping them to lead full, independent lives.
The association operates under the Stoma Appliance Scheme, the Australian Government program [LINK to http://australianstoma.com.au/resources/sas-information/] that supports people with stomas by giving them access to approved, clinically appropriate stoma-related products that meet their individual needs.
Most members receive their products monthly, though other arrangements are possible. Members must lodge a written order for the supplies they need. Supplies can be collected in person or mailed for a small fee. [LINK TO ‘SUPPLIES’]

We hold periodic social functions [LINK TO “NEWS AND EVENTS’] where members can meet their fellows, share experiences and and see what new products are available.
